Who are we?
Escape Beat is the creative child of Lyndall Grant, one of Australia’s leading practitioners in movement, action and creature transformation. She leads a company of compelling and enthralling performers, who bring craft, skill and innovation to our projects.
Lyndall Grant
Actor, fight director, movement director and motion capture specialist. She is once of Australia’s foremost specialists in fight and movement performance.
Lyndall was co-director of London-based theatre company Thrice Ninth Productions, performing at the St. James Theatre, Rose Theatre, Soho Theatre and Tristan Bates Theatre before returning to Melbourne. Recent performance work includes Melbourne’s production of Harry Potter and the Cursed Child, and actor roles with the Australian Ballet and Melbourne Shakespeare Company.
Lyndall is the director of Australia’s leading company in dramatic combat and motion capture performance, Captivate Action.
